About us
Westbourne Swim Club is an exciting new swim program based out of Westbourne Grammar School’s Truganina campus. With primary access to state-of-the-art facilities, including an 8 lane 25m pool complete with track-start blocks, as well as access to a comprehensive gym and dryland space, this club promises to be centre of swimming in Melbourne’s West.
Joining a swim club is the first step towards a rewarding career in competitive swimming. Whether it’s Ian Thorpe joining Padstow Swim Club at the age of 8, or Emma McKeon being coached by her father out of the family-owned McKeon Swim School and Club. In line with Westbourne’s values, Westbourne Swim Club will be a community of swimmers striving to better themselves and their teammates in a culture that will foster the next Thorpes and McKeons.
